ABOUT MELISSA
I am a psychic/medium who has been spiritual and intuitive my whole life. I awoke to my talent in August 2005 after the passing of my grandfather. His death helped me discover my gifts and develop them into powerful tools for myself and others. At that point I became very interested in the metaphysical and spiritual realm and began connecting with other like-minded individuals.
It's a genuine pleasure reaching out to my clients and providing insight into their options, challenges, strengths, weaknesses, and/or fears. People often come to me for advice, which I channel from Spirit. I am an intuitive, which allows me to feel what others feel. This helps me guide clients through situations with the assistance of their Spirit Guides and mine. Messages are delivered to you with the highest and best intentions based upon your current path in life.
Because I am a medium, I can connect you with your passed on loved-ones to deliver messages to you. If this is your intention for a psychic reading, please bring objects or photographs of them (though it is not necessary) because it helps me to connect with their energy through psychometry, the process in which the energy of a person can be sensed through an object.
I am a natural teacher as well. I am passionate about teaching others about the spiritual gifts they have, especially children. I attended SUNY College at Brockport in NY state (where I grew up) and graduated in 2002 and 2003 with my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education. I moved to Cary, NC (a suburb of Raleigh, NC) in June 2004. I taught second grade for a few years there. During my teaching career, I worked with many children who were spiritually gifted. While I wanted to reach out to these children, there were many restraints in the public schools system which stopped me from doing this. This is what gave me the idea to create classes for intuitive children who could benefit from my teaching skills and intuitive knowledge.
Shamanism and Metaphysics are two areas I continue to learn more about. I'm involved with many Meetup groups (through Meetup.com) and share knowledge with others. Regular meditation helps me focus on developing further and provides clarity to situations in my own life.
I left Cary, NC and relocated to the Seattle area in October 2008. This move was completely inspired by Spirit and the intuitive feeling I needed to be here. I enjoy the highly spiritual energy of the Pacific Northwest and am grateful for the opportunities that have come and those that are yet to manifest.
